Teaching Background, Qualifications and Interests:

I was Head of Psychology at Heathland School and Ashbourne Independent College where I taught AQA and Edexcel specifications; and Head of Biology at Campbell Harris Private College where I taught OCR and AQA specifications. I have examined student work and supervised coursework practicals. I also taught and tutored A level English Literature at Ashbourne and Duff Miller Sixth form colleges.

I have a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology, and an MA and PhD in English Literature. I also have a PGCE in Science specialising in Chemistry.

I am a qualified hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and coach who helps adults and young people including students with stress and anxiety; I am also a published writer.
